even with my flat broke-ness (14 years old), I still chose 30th anniversary edition over saving money (definitely worth it)

    seriudly
  15. Fannia Says:
Good point! Even if someone only wanted to buy just the Budokan album and none of the others that Trick released, it would show just how much pure energy this 70s classic LP really had. Consider that Disco was so wildly popular at the time. These boys just were not afraid of trying a style that was so different for the times.
  16. Kay Says:
That is a real good question. You knew when this album came out that it was a great album that even non Cheap Trick fans liked. It was so cool for its time, and I would have to say it was a tie between the songs and the audience reaction that set it apart.
  17. NADINE Says:
One of the most classic rock songs ever...sounded good in '78 and still sounds good in '09. Gotta love Cheap Trick!
  18. ANGLESEY Says:

I must agree! I like everything I have ever heard from "The Trick." However, Budokan just takes the cake. Nothing tricky about it.
  25. Hudson Says:
There is just something really really magical about the Budokan performance, an energy just that is very very hard to replicate. It has to be considered without question one of the greatest moments in rock history.
