Several members you know from The Old Ceremony comprised of James Wallace (piano), Mark Simonsen (electric keyboard), Matt Brandau (bass), and Dan Hall (drums) were joined by Scott McCall (guitar, Two Dollar Pistols, Tift Merritt) for late night jazz at The Station in Carrboro NC, 9/30/08. As they played, a vivid thunderstorm moved through, charged by their electric performance. I'm thinking they started it.
I may come back later and add some of their websites so you can follow up on individual projects if you'd like. Collectively though, oooh baby!
Check the blog at http://www.myspace.com/betsyssmile for alphabetized lists. This overshoot water-wheel of the Neue Mühle at Brandau in Germany. It has 27 feet diameter and powered once a historical wheat and rye mill. Today it turns a generator.
